Membership questions
Can't find your answer? Email hello@auswaterpoloreferees.com or use our contact form.
I referee outside NSW. Can I join?
Yes, and we strongly encourage it. AWPR is a national association, open to referees in every state and territory from day one. We are based in NSW and recognised by Water Polo NSW, and we are seeking recognition from each state and territory body. Pre-register now to join.
Do I need to be an AWPR member to referee?
No. Accreditation and official appointments stay with Water Polo NSW and Water Polo Australia. AWPR membership is optional and adds support, mentoring and community on top.
What will membership cost, and what will it cover?
Pricing will be confirmed when membership opens, and pre-registered referees will hear first. Full Members are expected to receive incident and judiciary support, mentoring, voting rights, events and member prices in the shop.
